I love that john chang videos are floating out there on the web... I can assure you... they are legit. Well, either they are legit OR they are a hoax created by a true taoist master. But then again, a true taoist master would really have no reason I can think of to make those videos.
I'll tell you why... there were a couple things demonstrated...
1. pyro
2. toothpick wei chi
3. telekinesis (in another video)
In each case, the correct body part and method was used.
In the recent Journik Advanced members' test, half of you wrote that the yang finger was the middle finger and the other half said it was the index finger. This tells me that you cant see qi yet.
It's glaringly obvious which finger is yang and which is yin. They alternate just like the chakras do.
Think about it. then throughout the day, notice what each finger does and when each finger is used... DO NOT LOOK AT THE FINGERS. Since you already know that Jing Follows Qi and Qi follows Yi/Ai... all you have to do is look at the
YI and Look at the Jing... THEN what sits between MUST be the Qi. Really simple logic... Qi is something you see with your 3rd EYE!!!! Not something that can be photographed. Anything photographable is a 3rd chakra event. Qi is a higher dimensional energy that permeates all dimensions.
With enough qi, you can create fires and even light... THESE can be photographed but these are NOT qi. These are just fire and light.
So notice your Yi/Ai and observe the resulting Jing... then see which parts of the hands did the Qi/Chi work.

I Looked and it was gone.
Regardless, if you want to get to the next level officially, put up your own video doing 90 seconds of Oh Haeng Qi Mah Sae on youtube with "journic.com" in the title. Your femurs must be lower than 45 degrees and closer to parallel to the earth.

The hollywood agents all have the biggest producers cell phone numbers. New actors do NOT. Producers don't even like talking to actors because they say actors are too artsy and tooo emotional. They would rather deal with an agent who is more professional. Bosses all have clients who like to golf and go yachting with them. People with big money don't like paying people with little money. Because if something goes wrong, they cant sue the F*** outta middle class people. Book Publishers all have friends who own bookstores. Authors just have a typewriter and white-out.
Connections are KEY!
CONTACTS are KEY!
So... As you know... I have tons of contacts... as you put your summaries up on herbholist.com and write your blog posts here and on your posterous / tumblr... @journik me and I'll see if it fits enough to tweet it out to 22,000 people.
BUT you can also just do what I do and get thousands of readers/followers YOUSELF.
WHAT I DO:
1. Write interesting shit.
2. Edit the hell out of it. "I would have written you a short letter but I didn't have time so here's a long one instead."
3. Edit some more.
4. Proof read to find more things to edit.
5. Make final edits
6. Sit on it before making more edits
7. Make more edits.
8. I scan Twitter for anyone who uses the word "taoism OR qigong" I know they are ALREADY interested in reading what I write. You can do the same thing for "raw foods OR vegan OR diet," "beads" "server crashed" etc...
9. recommend that my Twitter followers follow them. SEE: http:/
This is a highly effective way to get THEM to follow MEEEEEE. Why? Go around today and tell people they look really good today. They will feel good and oddly, tell you the same thing. Go out today and tell people they are brilliant. They will feel good and oddly, tell you the same thing.
